Hearts Cards App Reviews

If you want to win every time this is the App for you, otherwise it’s completely boring

Not very smart

This app doesnt recognize the Queen of Spades is different from other cards. It will lead the Ace of Spades or play the Ace when it has lower cards in a hand, even though its not going for control and the play means it gets the Queen. Very basic, and not very smart.

Great relaxing game

Relaxing yes, but you can use several strategies

could use some help

- needs to be able to go to full screen - put cards aside to be able to tell who have cards or not

Not very competitive

Physical card dealing and playing is way too slow. Questionable strategy by game players as obvious wrong plays are made. Simple to beat at the hardest level. Possibly OK for someone new to hearts (and wants to get a few wins)

a few comments

sort of fun - but this version seems a bit simple. too many hands when a player gets all the cards. too many cards played in a strange order by computer players. also - should keep a running total of percentage of games won. i prefer the microsoft version of hearts on my desktop.

Absolutely BRUTAL Design and Software - Good thing it only cost .99

This may have been designed for younger children to learn how to play hearts?? On a scale of 1-10 where 1 is poor, this rates at least a -1 at best. No options, no variables, no re-naming, basically just a poor raw version of the hearts game. I will try another vendor and hopefully find a much better version. The Beatles would be offended knowing that their names were attached to this game. Keep up the fair work folks. Don’t give up your day job!!!!!!!!!

Good game for my Mac Air

The new changes are welcomed. I like seeing my win percentage.

It’s OK, but...

A couple of improvements are needed: don’t hide the top player’s cards when revealing the scores (duh!), space the played cards out a little bit better so they don’t overlap, making visibility better, and make the “board” fill the screen, again for easier visibility.

Hearts Cards

Who put this game together? It’s slow, no options, and 2 out of 10 games i play hang up with and won’t play.

Painfully poor tecknowwledgy

Yes you cn play Hearts. It does keep score, but no states. Totally unexciting raphics.

Not worth it.

The players are not in order on the scoresheet. South (player) ought to be listed last. There is no running total during the hand. Card play is basic at best. Not worth the $1 I paid. I regret the purchase.

Hearts Cards

Needs some refinement. The game is fun but is slow and choppy. This needs to be addressed.

Lot’s of Quirks

It works. But they never tested it with actual Hearts players before releasing it. So many things should be corrected. The biggest frustration is that the names of the players do not appear in order of how the cards are played, so figuring out who to protect or try to give points to after each hand is a challenge when it should be, could be, obvious. Also, when the score box comes down after each hand is over, it covers North’s hand. These are obvious annoyances that could and should be easily fixed. It is no where near as good as the Windows Hearts game, yet could be easily fixed. Unfortunately it is the only Hearts game I saw in the Apple Store when I bought this computer.

Hearts Cards 1.1

This is a smooth, easy to play version of Hearts. Rather than repeat the comments of other users with whom I agree, I find one serious weakness that is common in computer Hearts games: The computer players typically dump high hearts before they have been split. This makes it all too easy to shoot the moon with a hand that should never succeed. Im the only player who will bite the bullet and deliberately take four hearts in order to block another player from taking all the hearts and the queen of spades. Sometimes I just dont have the hearts to do this and the other players dont even try.

It

No glitches, can change rules if you wish, altogether pretty well done.

Hearts card game

Great T=time-kiler! Easier in my eyes than Bejeweled. I dont like being "Ringo" all the time. Not my favourite Beatle. How about "Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John," "John, Jane, Bill, Mary"?

Want one change

I want to not have to lead the queen of spades when all I have left is the queen and hearts. I would prefer the option of leading one of the hearts instead. It really stinks to be forced to take 13 points before I can lead a heart..

for shame!!!

1. expected live player option 2. always pass clubs- never a problem 3. not programed to start run you get what u pay for-POGO is still free!!

Very Good Free App

This hearts game deals fairly and the AI is very good. You will not win every game, but you wont lose them all either. It is very much like playing an actual opponent. I have seen no coding mistakes in this game. It is better than most paid apps, let alone free ones.
